Your donations for Preston Community Library are gratefully received.

I became involved with the campaign to save Preston Library, source of much of my reading and inspiration throughout my childhood, and then for my own children, when I found out in 2011 that Brent Council planned to close the much-used, -loved- and -depended-on community facility and hub.

As well as campaigning, I became a founding trustee of the charity, set up by Jacqueline Bunce-Linsell, to run the library as a voluntary organisation.

Now I teach yoga at the library to raise funds for the library charity.
