I am honoured and privileged to be able to bring the teachings of yoga and Zen to the community and the world, since I qualified as a teacher in 2015. It is my great pleasure to teach in the community. And since 2019, I have been training yoga teachers in the Yoga Alliance-accredited Zenways 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, which means even more people are going out into the world doing the great work of teaching yoga!

Most recently, in April 2023, I completed the Yoga in Health Alliance training to teach the NHS Yoga4Health protocol, which can be prescribed for people with health risks.

I am a Yoga Alliance-registered E-RYT500 and YACEP, and a Zenways yoga teacher trainer. I completed Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training with David Swenson at Triyoga in 2018, and I undertook the 300-hour Five Elements advanced teacher training with Trimurti in India in 2020.

My teaching is deeply rooted in the Zen tradition and the classical Hatha yoga heritage, and flavoured with all the learnings I have been lucky enough to absorb from all the great teachers I have had the benefit to learn from.

I have been practising yoga for most of my adult life – and for some of my childhood, too. My mum had a yoga book (pictured), from which I copied the pictures of the postures.

Throughout my twenties, I learned and practised tai chi with the London School of Tai Chi Ch’uan. In the last couple of years, I have rejoined them.

I have had the privilege to practise and train with a great many amazing teachers, including Daizan Skinner Roshi, Manju Jois, David Swenson, Frances D’Angelo, Paul Fox, Heather Mason, Yogi Ashokananda, Christopher Gladwell, Nadia Narain and Sue Chopping. I have achieved the grade of first kyu in the Zen martial art of kempo under the tutelage of Sensei Jee (sixth dan).

There is a saying that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I would love to help you begin or continue your yoga journey.
